Medium roast
Suitable for any type of preparation, especially for full-bodied filter coffees, but also for mild to medium-bodied espressos.
The medium roast is our “standard” roast. The coffees are roasted for about 14 to 16 minutes until just after “first crack”. This allows the special aromas of the coffees to come to the fore. They have a lot of sweetness, a slight fruitiness and rather implied roasted flavors.
omni roast
Suitable for fruity and acidic espressos as well as fruity full-bodied filter coffees.
The “omni” roast (from the Latin “omni” for “all”) is a short roast of about 10 to 12 minutes. We have developed them for selected fruity coffees from our “Single Origin” range. This roast leads to the proximity of our very light roasted specialty coffees. It is a good introduction to the world of so-called “third wave” coffees.
The fruity aromas of these coffees are in the foreground. The fruit acids are perceptible, but wonderfully integrated in taste.
